THE GREAT BOOK SWAP: Supporting the Indigenous Literacy Project
A cake stall will be held at both locations to raise extra funds.

Colin is currently involved in the “Wollumbin Dreaming”, an Aboriginal Student Leadership Program. He is also a student from the Faculty of Education and Social Work and the Koori Centre, and Aboriginal Education Officer (AEO) at Kingscliff High School. Previously Colin has worked as Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer (ACLO) for the Department of Education and Communities (DEC).
About the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF)
ILF aims to raise literacy and improve the lives and opportunities of Indigenous children living in remote and isolated regions by providing books and other literacy resources and sponsoring community identified literacy projects.
How to participate in the Great Book Swap
Please participate to raise much needed funds for this important project.
- Bring along one of your favourite or much loved books so you can swap it for someone else’s.
- Make a donation and all the money raised will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Project.
- Bookplates will be available so you can tell the recipient why the book means so much to you.
- Books can be dropped off at any University of Sydney Library information desk before the day.
The Great Book Swap is being hosted by the University of Sydney Library and the Faculty of Education and Social Work, with support from the Koori Centre and Yooroang Garang.
