Library Client Survey 2013: Wed 15 May to Wed 29 May 2013.

The online survey takes about 10 minutes to do and can be completed anonymously. University of Sydney students, who complete the survey, are eligible to enter the draw to win a $500 or one of 10 $50 Coles Myer gift cards.

Want to know your current Library Barcode Number or the email address your Library Notices are sent to?

studentThen head to MyLoans on the Library website.

Your current library barcode and the email address we send Library Notices to can be found in MyLoans  as part of your borrowing record.

If you aren’t receiving library notices, or you have re-enrolled but not yet received your 2013 Student card, then MyLoans is the place to go to find out your current library barcode and the email address we have on record for you.

 

 

Renew your library card membership online

Campus cardYou can now renew your library card membership online without attending the Campus Card Centre in person.

Simply click on the appropriate Card Application Form and follow the link to pay online. Your card will be renewed by the next business day.

Duplicate and superseded Library material on offer to University staff and students

Duplicate and superseded library material identified for disposal is being offered to University of Sydney staff and students.  This process is in accordance with the announced Review Process (step 6)

The material will be available for browsing and selection at the Darlington Depository Library (Clark Building) in Rose Street Darlington, adjacent to the Economics and Business Building between 9.30am and 5pm each weekday until Friday 30 November, 2012.

The material is made generally available on the Monday 26 November.  Library staff will be at the Darlington Library during this time.  Some bags and boxes will be available.

The material is arranged in Dewey Classification tens.

System upgrade: Catalogue and MyLoans outage from 3am, Wed 7 November 2012

Due to a scheduled upgrade the online catalogue and MyLoans will not be accessible from 3am Wednesday November 7 for approximately 4 to 6 hours.

You will still be able to search and access online resources via CrossSearch from the Library home page. However, Library Borrower Number login to resources will not be available and availability details for catalogue items will not display.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fisher Library collection move from Level 6 to level 4

BooksBetween 24-30 September, 000-299 collection will move from level 6 to level 4.

During the collection move period, if you can’t find an item on level 6 please check on level 4.

Material on level 4 will be available by contacting a staff members at the location.

Fisher Library level 3 North open

Info Desk L3 NorthWe are happy to announce that level 3 North of Fisher Library is now open.

There you will find the new Information Desk for Fisher Library, the Returns area and the 2 Hour collection. This in addition to the Access Centre which opened last month.
