The University has a new Research Data Management Policy. The University is working on a number of initiatives to help researchers manage their research data, including:
- Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN): the University is working to implement a University-wide ELN service. A pilot will run from March-May 2014.
Researchers: register your interest in the ELN pilot.
- Research Data Store: the University has data storage available for researchers, and is undergoing a large project to upgrade our research data storage infrastructure.
Apply for space on the Research Data Store
- Research Data Management Guidelines: The Research Data Management Guidelines provide information for researchers, students and research support staff.
Contact the Research Data Manager for further advice.
The Research Data Management policy sets out the responsibilities of the University, Faculty representatives and individual researchers with regard to the management, storage, retention and ownership of and access to research data, and assists researchers and the University to meet the requirement of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.
