Guest speaker: Colin Appo

Colin is currently involved in the “Wollumbin Dreaming”, an Aboriginal Student Leadership Program. He is also a student from the Faculty of Education and Social Work and the Koori Centre, and Aboriginal Education Officer (AEO) at Kingscliff High School. Previously Colin has worked as Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer (ACLO) for the Department of Education and Communities (DEC).

About the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF)

ILF aims to raise literacy and improve the lives and opportunities of Indigenous children living in remote and isolated regions by providing books and other literacy resources and sponsoring community identified literacy projects. (more…)
