Fisher South refurbishment in progress

The Fisher South refurbishment project is underway and will continue until the end of 2013.

  • Work has commenced on Fisher South Levels 1, 5 and 9.
  • The door to the Herbert Smith Freehills Law Library and the corridor on Level 1 Fisher South have been closed until further notice.
  • The East Asian collection has been relocated to Level 2 Fisher South.
  • The current newspapers and magazines have been relocated to the 2 hour collection on Level 3 Fisher North.

Newsroom and link to Herbert Smith Freehills Law Library are now open

Law Library linkThe tunnel link to the Herbert Smith Freehills Law Library has reopened. Part of the newly refurbished Fisher South on Level 1 near the tunnel link includes a new space called the Newsroom.

All current newspapers and popular magazines which had previously been located in the 2 Hour collection on Level 3 will now be located in this new space.

Borrowing conditions update to Law Short Loan collection

Law Short Loan books are now borrowable under the same conditions as Law Research books.

Loans are for 8 weeks, are renwable and can be recalled.

Recalled books must be returned within one week.

Extended opening hours for the Law Library
